This is my favorite garden, maybe apart from my own at home. But my garden at home does not have a beautiful olive tree or the most wonderful people, Elena and Bruno Viberti.

The garden is part of a small hotel in La Morra, Corte Gondina. It is run by the Viberti family, and can most sincerely be recommended to anyone. Not only does it have a pool, wonderful food, idyllic rooms and wonderful service, it also has the most peaceful garden. 

Sitting here with my coffe and Jo Nesbø, life is perfect. 

Worth a visit. Maybe I'll see you there.

After some shopping in Alba, I sat down at this wonderful cafe in the middle of the shopping street. Vin Cafe offers drinks and snacks, a great place to relax and people watch.

The wine, as you can see, is label less and was bottles 3 weeks ago. 

What a start to my new adventure. 

new job title

Today I begin a new adventure in Italy. I will be working in a vineyard, as a farmer, with Vietti. I am not sure what the job entails, but I am sure it will be amazing! I will try to keep you posted, but the internet is not exactly great in wine country.

The 30 day challenge has been on pause since I was stranded on a desert island with no internet and poor cell service. Tomorrow, I am Italy bound, and will therefore be on and off the internet, so we will see where the days go.

I was lucky enough to attend the showing of the new Sabo collection, and got to see all the new stuff. It was a lot of fun, I even persuaded my Grandmother to buy some pieces of jewelry, perhaps I'll get some for Christmas.

On rainy days like today , I try to remember a day like this one. 

day 10: not by choice

So, sometimes new things happen without us wanting them to. That happened to me today.

For the first time in my life, I got stuck in an elevator.

I am usually a pretty brave person, but today in that elevator, I was scared.

 

And there was no day 9. Sorry.

This is me today.

Woke up to a storm, which usually puts me in a good mood, but when you have to walk your terrified dog in terrential rain and lightning striking every 5 seconds, it's not that great.

Then, the bus is late, which makes me late for work. And I really dislike being late.

Oh, and when I get to work, I get stuck in the elevator.

Hope that's the last of my bad luck today.

Day 8: sparkly nails

Another nail design post, probably boring, but I had to try the glitter I got as a gift. It is messy, but fun! I didn't do it very well, but since it was my first time, next time will be better. I hope.

day 7: little red riding hood

I have moved away from my "women's rights" genre, and started reading books in Norwegian. So far, so good. I prefer reading in English, but I should read both, so I try. 

We'll see how long this lasts...

HAPPY MONDAY

day 7: this one, not on purpose

I didn't take any pictures of this one, but I drove my boat in a thunderstorm. Not exactly on purpose. That's the thing in Norway, the weather changes in about 30 seconds, and when I went out with the boat it was clear. And then, it changed. 

Anyway, that's something I have never done before.

This may not look very good, and it looks a little dodgy, but it was delicious!

I have never tried this before, but pita pizza is good. I forgot that yesterday was supposed to be friday pizza day, so I made up for it today. 

Day 6: "home made" pedicure

I have never cared for my feet myself, and am really bad at getting them done, so I decided to try myself. I went out and bought salt, scrub, cooling spray, a scrapy-thingy and a cream. 

I love footbaths, so I soaked my feet in the new salt, then I scrubbed my feet, used the scrapy-thingy, and then put some lotion on.

Let me tell you: my feet feel good!

The addition of the spray made it even better.

Body shop did good!

a disney day

In the event of this rainy day, I have decided to stay in bed. With my disney movies stacked and my new candle lit, Lillo and I have cuddled up in bed. With the occasional bolts of lightning and claps of thunder, Lillo snuglles in closer as we watch the Jungle Book.

We'll see if I have any energy to go for a run in the rain later.

For now, the bed is calling.

Day 5: martian child

I am a big fan of watching movies. I watch movies over and over again. I actually rarely see a new movie. So tonight, Lillo and I cuddled while watching Martian Child. It was awesome!

I love watching new movies, but I haven't in a long time. So that was my "new thing" for today.

day 4: many new things

I don't have any pictures, but today I did many new things.

I rode the red oslo city bus for the first time.

I ate a grilled red pepper with salt (made by my latina friends, YUM)

And, I played piano with a little girl with downs syndrome.
