mayo the home made way

When I was in Italy this summer, I learned how to make Mayo from scratch. All you need are eggs and vegetable oil, and whatever flavor you want, and you mix it together. The trick is to have the right consistency, but that takes practice. 

So with our seafood dinner, we had home made mayo, along with a little blind tasting of white wines.

The wine, as you can see, is label less and was bottles 3 weeks ago.

pita pizza

This may not look very good, and it looks a little dodgy, but it was delicious!

I have never tried this before, but pita pizza is good. I forgot that yesterday was supposed to be friday pizza day, so I made up for it today. 

girls night

Martine made me pizza last night, delicious! And we relaxed on her porch with her beautiful dog, Lycke. 

Only downside was that she tried to serve we box wine, and I was not having it. (Sorry Martine!)

Doing this again soon, and then I am bringing the wine.

friday pizza

It has been a long standing tradition in our family to have pizza on fridays. Well, since I am going away this weekend, I made friday pizza today, thursday. And as always, the pizza is accompanied by "pizza wine", and these days my favorite is Nadia Curto's Barbera d'Alba. Excellent, as always.
