My dad flew in from Norway, so we met at Lupa for "lunch"

Three hours later we had 3 bottles of wine, pasta, cheese and a meat platter.

I stayed at Julia's last night and we ordered sushi. I of course brought the wine, one of my favorites, Ettore Germano.

First wine visit this time was with a "new" producer, as in new for us. We have tasted his wines, but never met him. As always when trying something new, we had no idea what to expect, but we soon found out that this would be fantastic. Sergei Germano is kind, adventurous and hilarious. He had me laughing the whole time. And not to mention, the incredible wine!

I, as always, prefer the white. I find white wine much easier to drink. His whites were superb, but his reds also, very good. Especially Langhe Nebbiolo.

All in all, great first wine tasting.
